In AC Both were leaders of Catholic Action from their youth. Aristide founded the Catholic Youth of Venezuela, of which he was national vice president from 1943 to 1947. He was also a legal advisor to the Christian Syndicate Movement in 1951 and founded the Christian Family Movement with his beloved Adelita.
