The Association for the Beatification of Brother Luigi Bordino, in the year marking the tenth anniversary of his beatification (May 2, 2015), is organizing a roundtable discussion titled "What They Say About Him." The meeting will feature the participation and stories of several people who knew Brother Luigi personally. They will attempt to outline some aspects of the religious figure who, as an Alpine soldier, participated in the Russian Campaign and subsequently dedicated his life to God, serving those in need at the Cottolengo.
Readings and music will enrich the recounting of these experiences. The event will be held on October 18th in Bra at Casa Cottolengo, with entrance at Via Fratelli Carando 28, starting at 5:00 PM. The event will be moderated by Castellina Scalzi writer Tiziano Gaia. Speakers will include Michael Isnardi, the Blessed's great-grandson; Sister Annamaria De Rossi, a Cottolengo nun; Father Lino Piano, former Father General of the Little House; and Brother Ernesto Gada, a Cottolengo brother.
