«"Man of God, tend... to justice" (1Tm 6,11). The martyrology of Valencia, from his hometown of Manises, is also enriched by Blessed Vicente Vilar David, who crowned his life with martyrdom by dedicating himself totally to God, to his neighbor and to the promotion of justice in the world of work, especially in the School of Ceramics and in the Patronage of Social Action. Prayer and great devotion to the Eucharist nourished his whole life, so much so that his work bore the imprint of the presence of God. Marriage, the exercise of the profession, the activities that are proper to seculars, are ways that they lead to holiness if they are lived with sincerity and evangelical self-giving, as required by baptism."
