O God, our Father, we thank you for having given the Church the heroic testimony of Blessed Teresio Olivelli, who has radiated everywhere the light of faith, the enthusiasm of hope and the warmth of charity. In imitation of Jesus the Good Samaritan, he bent over the sufferings of the poorest, weakest and most defenceless, offering himself up to the supreme gift of life. We pray to you: let us imitate your martyr of faith and apostle of mercy, so that we can follow your only-begotten Son by building the world in justice and peace. Through the merits and intercession of Blessed Teresio Olivelli, we beg you to grant us the grace that we confidently ask. Ascend to you, Father, through Jesus your son and in the power of the Holy Spirit, perennial praise for everlasting ages. Amen.
