The history of your Association
it is made up of many “saints next door” – many! –,
and it is a story that must continue:
holiness is a heritage to be guarded and a vocation to be welcomed.
Blessed Carmine De Palma, good shepherd in love with the Lord, patient minister of mercy, who welcomed those seeking hope, turn your gaze upon our Church as it journeys through history. You who contemplate the glory of God, intercede for us: make our hearts docile to the action of the Spirit, so that they may be attentive to discerning and fulfilling the Father's will. Example of evangelical life, open our eyes to the needs of the poorest, grant pastors the perseverance to carry out the ministry entrusted to them and grant everyone the wonder of feeling loved and forgiven. Watch over the Church of Bari-Bitonto, so that the communities may be a sign of reconciliation, fraternal communion, and prophecies of hope. To you we entrust our lives and our needs. (Express your prayer silently.) We implore mercy and peace for all. Amen.
