He was born into a very large peasant family.
At the age of seven, she offered herself as a "victim" for the religious vocation of her sisters and the priestly vocation of her brothers. He renews his offer of "victim" until death. At thirteen he fell ill with pleurisy. At fifteen, she wanted to join the Sisters of Charity in Rome, but galloping tuberculosis forced her to enter the sanatorium of Pescina (Aq).
Here he organized a thriving Catholic Action and was its president until his death. She is also a zealot for the missions, and a member of the Catholic Union for the Sick. She has chosen the name of Sentinel of the cross.
