The eldest of three children, she was born in Todi (Perugia) on November 22, 1912, to pious parents Marino Ferdinandi and Maria Ferretti. Her educational record is exemplary; she attended elementary school in Todi, then attended the Royal Complementary School "Iacopone" in Todi between 1923 and 1927, always at the top of her class; from 1927 to 1930, she attended the secondary teacher training college in Perugia.

A few days later, on February 22, 1940, she died at just 28 years old. She had lived an intense life with an exemplary path, but what distinguished Teresa Ferdinandi was her love for the Eucharist and for Our Lady, which was the most salient characteristic of her life, combined with a constant self-denial and total abandonment to God.
She was president of the Ladies of Charity and diocesan president of the Female Youth of Catholic Action in Todi, carrying out an intense and fruitful apostolate.
On June 23, 1977, the Church of Todi presented the necessary documentation to begin the cause for his beatification, together with that for his brother Mario, who died at the age of 30 in 1946.
The Congregation for the Causes of Saints granted permission on June 1, 1979; the mortal remains of the two Servants of God were transferred on November 20, 1983, to the city sanctuary of the Madonna del Campione.
