The father owned a bank and his mother belonged to a family of entrepreneurs, in 1925 the mother died and entrusted the Christian education of her two children to her husband. An excellent student of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in Buenos Aires, he enters the Naval Academy.

He marries Cecilia Bunge in 1943, the family is gladdened by the birth of nine children, one of whom will be a priest.

In 1945 he heard the call to evangelize the workers and decided to go to work in the factory. But he is convinced to engage in this apostolate in his own family environment: entrepreneurship. He accepts the position of director of the family business, exercising the Christian virtues and making the social doctrine of the Church a rule of life.

In this period he joined Catholic Action, becoming responsible and then national president of the Men of Argentine Catholic Action, in 1961.
Together with other entrepreneurs, he participates, as secretary, in the organization of humanitarian aid for post-war Europe. From this experience, and with the encouragement of Monsignor Cardjin, he founded the Christian Association of Entrepreneurs (Acde) in 1952 and promoted Uniapac (World Movement of Christian Entrepreneurs) in Latin America.

He fell ill with a tumor in 1957, but his apostolic activity continued intense: he was treasurer in the first board of directors of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina and participated in the foundation of the Serra club.

As a sign of his Marian devotion, before his death, he went as a pilgrim to Lourdes where he prayed for family and friends.
