PRESENTATION FORM OF THE NEW SITE
Each witness is introduced with a summary sheet in which it is possible to immediately obtain the fundamental information on the figure and on the process of his cause. In particular, we also wanted to highlight the link between the witness and Catholic Action. From the summary file you have access to analytical information such as the biography, the initiatives, the popular material, the quotes and texts of the witness, the publications and the media.
One is active alphabetical search and above all one analytical research on witnesses: by type, country (for Italian witnesses there is also the possibility of searching for them by region), by age (young people, adults, children), state of life, profession, relationship with Catholic Action.
In the general part of the site, we have instead inserted information about the Foundation, on its activities, publications and a menu “About holiness” with which we intend to share information relating to the processes of beatification and canonization to the users of the site.
Those who visit the site will find the homepage at the top left liturgical memory of the witness of the day, on days when a saint or blessed witness is remembered. On days when liturgical memories are not remembered, a will appear holiness quote, taken from the various speeches of the Popes to Catholic Action.
The witnesses of Catholic Action whose data we have so far collected are more than 400 and we are convinced that, thanks to the possibility of presenting them in multiple languages, other figures will soon be added.
