Exhibition “The good way. Witnesses of the mercy of the Father"

Made on the occasion of the Jubilee of Mercy 2016

Promoted by Italian Catholic Action, Italian Caritas, Catholic Action International Forum (FIAC) and Pius XI "Catholic Action School of Holiness" Foundation, with the patronage of the Committee for the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy, in Rome at the San Lorenzo Center (Church di San Lorenzo in Piscibus) in via Pancrazio Pfeiffer (corner of via della Conciliazione), you can visit the exhibition LA BUONA STRADA. Witnesses of the mercy of the Father.

The witnesses presented by the exhibition are more than fifty, among them Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati indicated as an example by Pope Francis, for the World Youth Day in Krakow 2016 (initial panel), and by St. John Paul II, who inaugurated the same Center San Lorenzo in 1983 (final panel), even before the start of the WYDs.

Objectives of the exhibition: to make known these witnesses of the Father's mercy, who show us today the good path of holiness; learn from these witnesses, saints, blessed, venerable, servants of God revered in the Church, to recognize the innumerable witnesses who have worked and are working in the silence of everyday life in our dioceses; to invite everyone, especially young people, to accept the pressing invitation of the Holy Father to put into practice the corporal and spiritual works of mercy in the light of Mt 5 and Mt 25; valuing the richness of the associative choice as a "school of holiness" to walk together on the paths of the world.

Twenty-eight witnesses are young or at the service of young people, including little Antonietta Meo, together with men and women, leaders and assistant priests, from twelve countries.
The proposed figures represent the variety of lay vocations, as well as many priestly vocations and religious life matured in Catholic Action.

The exhibition consists of twenty-five panels, in three languages (Italian, English and Spanish).
