Manuel Lozano Garrido – Lolo. “The cross has wings”

Author: Rafael Higueras Álamo
Co-edition: Editrice AVE - Libreria Editrice Vaticana - 2011

Precious and rare biography of Blessed Lolo (Manuel Lozano Garrido), Spanish journalist and writer, adherent of Catholic Action, who was an example for those who knew him and for the series of proselytes gathered around his figure when he was alive and after his his death. In fact, no one like him was able to face with a smile the serious illness that struck him and forced him to remain in a wheelchair for many years. A strong and courageous man, illuminated by a deep and very strong faith.

The text is accompanied by a DVD created by h2onews on the life of Blessed Lolo and the beatification ceremony which took place on 12 June 2010.

Francis, Evangelii Gaudium 263

«Let's not say that today it is more difficult;
it's different. Let's learn rather
by the saints who have gone before us
and they faced the difficulties
characteristic of their era".
