The new edition of The city of man, a “classic” from 1984, is actually a battle tool. Giuseppe Lazzati conceived it precisely to spread a message whose urgency he perceived, a "political" manifesto to start a new path and thought.
For him, in fact, the city of man is neither a Christian city to be interpreted according to the criteria of Christianity, nor a city totally separated from faith and religiosity, but it is a reality that asks its inhabitants to commit themselves to the good common.
These pages, integrated with new contributions that interpret and update Lazzati's thought, still remain of great cultural value today as a precious tool for acquiring greater political awareness which is then expressed in thinking and acting politically.
