It can be said that their exemplary conduct was a preparation for that supreme profession of faith which is martyrdom. [...] The list of those who are today elevated to the honors of the altars for having professed their faith and having given one's life for it is numerous. There are thirty-eight priests of the Archdiocese of Valencia, together with a conspicuous group of men and women of Catholic Action also from Valencia [...]."
